Transistors burst on to the NZ scene in 2009 with the release of their first album. The garage-punk three piece of Olly Crawford-Ellis, Colin Roxburgh, and James Harding formed in high school and honed their high energy live show by playing “every show that was offered”. They have released two albums and two EPs, after an extended break they returned with a new song 'Good Years' in 2021.
